enviroVale - Network, Influence, Market, Succeed

enviroVale has been trialling and formulating its approach over the last 18 months and in May 2007 has moved forward to a wider audience.

In mid 2005 the possibility of a Business cluster focusing on the environment and sustainability was investigated. Later that year some 7 businesses were approached with this idea. Their response was enthusiastic.

The first tentative steering group meeting was held in January 2006 and there was a subsequent launch event in February 2006. The name enviroVale was adopted mid 2006 and a steering group solely from businesses was in place soon after.

The steering group has been recently reviewing what its focus, membership and direction should be. A revised set of objectives have thus been agreed.

As of end April 2007, enviroVale has some 25 plus member businesses, whilst these businesses are not all involved solely in environmental products or services, the total workforce of companies who are members of enviroVale is impressively in the order of 120,000 people worldwide.

enviroVale welcomes new members in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire etc.
